We are excited to be hosting this year's Southwest District Convention on our beautiful campus at Louisiana State University. This year will be a memorable experience for all attending. The theme of Mardi Gras Masquerade incorporates some of our Louisiana culture. This website contains registration information including: individual registration form, new initiate / MC form, vendor / chapter display form and hotel info. 

Here are some reminders to help ease your chapter's planning:

·        Convention scheduled for April 17-19, 2009

·        Cash will not be accepted for registration.

·        Make checks payable to Kappa Kappa Psi / Beta Gamma.

·        Online registration is available with a $1.25 credit card   processing fee.

·        If you have any questions you can email us at swdistrictconvention@gmail.com

·        Hotel rooms should be booked ASAP (Rooms at Lod Cook Hotel are limited)

·        Vendor and display will only be on Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight

·        Please add $2 to t-shirt sizes XXL and larger.

·        Formal dress is required for Saturday's banquet.

·        We will have a Beta Gamma representative at all workshops to answer your questions and collect registration money/forms.

LSU will be holding their annual "Weekend of Sports" the same weekend as convention. We ask that you book your hotels as soon as possible to avoid last minute changes at the hotel. The parking situation will be handled as the event gets closer and as athletics confirms many of the times for their sports events. Also, there are cheaper hotels farther away from campus, but your chapter must do the research to find these cheaper prices.

            We are putting our district pictures on a slide show at banquet this year. Remember to send chapter photos to your proper Council member of your organization so they can get it to us ASAP. Don't leave your chapter out during banquet…

Registration for this year's convention is $40 and can be paid by check or by a secure website. Be aware, however, as early registration ends March 23rd. A late fee of $25 will be added to all registrations after March 23. You may still register on site on the day of the convention, however, a late registration fee of $40 will be added on top of the regular cost of registration.

  Below you will find documents that should be sent by every chapter attending. If you are registering for the convention via mail, please send in one registration form per person along with your registration fees. Please be aware that only one Display Information form and/or Vendor Registration form per chapter needs to be sent in.
